There were 804,286 twenty year olds registered for National Service,63735 National Servicemen served in the Army,15381 served in Vietnam-Between 1966 and 1971 Australian Infantry Battalions were typically comprised of an even mix of regular soldiers and National Sevice Soldiers 210 lost their lives in Vietnam~~ From DVA Australia and the Vietnam war~~

above The above Nashos got together to form the new group Nashos WA date of event was 20th November 2008 at Gosnells Hotel WA

The second reunion20th June 2009 was attended by 30 ex Nashos ranging from intakes from 1953 to the last of 1972 also joined in were members of the 13th intake june 1968 the event took place at the Gosnells Hotel in WA

Victoria Nasho
Our group needs to thank a couple of mates from Victoria that has been in constant support and helps us as much as they can and to help promote the word mateship ,amongst those that served,
their names are Michael Vassallo and his son michael jr
